Standing upon the edge of a void she gazed out into the endless sea of stars that expanded beyond her reach. Here in this open universe of endless possibilities she gazed into the many worlds that lay scattered around her. So many lives, so many stories, so many things to share with the universe.
Each star it's own journey, each little sparkle it's own light against the darkness that was nothing. Each moment within a shard of diamonds against a black velvet just as precious as the last, and here they all were for her to gaze upon so lovingly.
This creature in her own warmth and grace stood on the edge of nothing, staring into worlds of everything, just beyond her reach. A bare foot reached out before taking pause, there was nothing to catch her should she fall. Nothing to steady her step if she placed foot upon the void at the edge of this metaphorical cliff she stood upon.
If she was to seek out these worlds, these stories, adventures, journeys, quests, and all manner of experiences. If she was to take the risk among the cold of emptiness, she could become lost in that darkness before her. She could possibly lose it all in chasing a dream.
Then a small light smile placed itself upon lips that held no fear. A knowledge lay within the heart of a dreamer. There was no endless darkness, there was no endless cold, there was no endless empty. Even if she were to fall the world was littered with stars, they surrounded her so completely. Even if she were to fall, eventually collision would be made, she would find a shining light among the darkness if gravity was so bold as to try and chain her.
So step she took, with hope and faith in what could be. Step she took into the empty as she danced upon the sparkling lights that filled the existence around her. She moved forward, she took step upon step towards her dreams with the knowledge that there was nothing that would ever keep her from being free in a sea of endless possibilities.
