Oh, what to say...

I am a stay at home mother of one. I am a unique individual in the way that I think and perceive the world. One of the reasons this is is due to the fact that I am Autistic. The other is I just happen to have a very hopeful and imaginative way of looking at the world.
​
Writing has always been a way for me to better express my thoughts and feelings. Now I'm confident enough to share those with the world. The light, the dark, and those shades between that fit my fancy.
​
I am unorthodox in my writing and writing style. By that I mean I do not write full 'stories' or follow all of the proper formats most commonly utilized when writing stories or poetry.
I may not always write a full story that includes the beginning, middle, and end. I may not write a poem that follows a rhyming rhythm or traditional poetry format.
​
What I focus on is the expression of a moment. The purpose is to share an experience, a shard of a 'reality' that exists within the recess of my imagination. There is magic and wonder, a light that shines so brightly it could burn. There is also anger and sorrow, darkness so vast that it is cold and empty.
​
Some things are written to move and inspire, to bring joy and encouragement. Some are written as a reminder to the hardships and tribulations we all face. While others, the horror, and darkness, well those are evidence that the light can only shine as bright as the darkness that surrounds it.
​
So I hope you can enjoy what I share, for as strange and out of the norm as it may be.
